SM-102 LNP Mix, 29mM, 2mL (in Ethanol)
 
This contains a ready-to-use lipid nanoparticle (LNP) ethanolic mixture containing:
 
50% - SM-102 (Ionizable Cationic Amino Lipid)
10% - 1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-PC (1,2-DSPC, Phospholipid)
38.5% - Cholesterol
1.5% - DMG-PEG(2000) (Lipid Excipient)
 
The mix is pre-portioned in ethanol with all components at their proper ratios for immediate LNP synthesis.
 
A separate formulation buffer is included: 100 mM Sodium Acetate buffer at pH 5,
Commonly used for encapsulating mRNA because the slightly acidic pH stabilizes the ionizable lipid and promotes efficient particle formation.
